GETTING AROUND
Green Mountain Transit Agency (GMTA operates bus routes in the Lamoille Valley and Central Vermont. Year-Round service is available between Stowe and Morrisville, and Stowe and Waterbury, with connections to Burlington and Montpelier. Seasonal winter routes between the lower village and Stowe Mountain Resort operate between November and April. Discover Stowe and beyond while leaving your car behind, and let GMTA do the driving. The Mountain Road Shuttle is FREE for the winter season!!
It winds through the lower and main villages of Stowe and continues up the Mountain Road to the base of Vermont's highest peak. The bus runs throughout the day and evening, with frequent stops at many popular destinations. For route and schedule information go to www.stoweshuttle.org or pick up a schedule at local establishments and Stowe's Visitor Information Center.
The Shopping Shuttle and Montpelier routes are $1.00 for Adults (ages 18-59), Seniors & Youth (age 17 and under) $.50, and Disabled Patrons and Medicare holders $.50.
Route 100 Commuter and Waterbury Commuter are $2.00 for Adults, $1.00 for Seniors & Youth, and $1.00 for Disabled Patrons and Medicare holders.
The LINK Express to Burlington is $4.00 for all passengers.
The Shopping Shuttle takes you between Stowe Village and Morrisville, from West Branch Apartments all the way to Morrisville Plaza. There are two runs available Monday through Friday, all year, excluding major holidays.
